    Sit and Sketch

    Wednesday July 29, 2015 / 1 – 4 pm

    Join E.L. Cord Museum School instructor, Jerry Stinson, in a fun and casual setting exploring basic drawing materials. Weekly drop-in drawing sessions inside the newly renovated E.L. Cord Museum School will give participants of all ages an opportunity to experiment with a variety of dry media, sketch from arranged still lifes or to draw freely. Participates are welcome to bring personal sketchbooks, though drawing materials and paper will be provided. Reservations are not necessary.

    State of the Arts

    Wednesday July 29, 2015 / 1:30 – 6:30 pm

    This forum will convene members of the arts community to generate meaningful discussion surrounding the state of the region’s cultural anchors, and to identify areas of opportunity. Panel discussion from 1:30 – 5 pm, followed by a reception from 5 – 6:30 pm.
