    Reno artist Katie Lewis’s work visualizes different kinds of data she compiles about her own life—physical sensations, the number of steps she takes each day—and then transforms the data into visual accumulations of pins, thread, paper, and graphite.

    Art Afternoon: Workshop and Social for Seniors

    Friday August 14, 2015 / 1 – 3 pm

    Seniors are invited to spend the afternoon in the E.L. Cord Museum School. Enjoy a studio art class creating bas-relief clay garden stones along with light refreshments. Art projects are designed for participants of all levels of experience and offer an engaging and interactive experience. These monthly sessions are held on the second Friday of each month. Registration is available online or day of. Please note, this month’s session of Art Afternoon will not include a tour as the galleries are closed for the installation of Tahoe: A Visual History.
