Megan Berner

received her MFA in Intermedia, University of Iowa and BFA, Photography, University of Nevada, Reno. Her work is greatly influenced by the landscape of her native Nevada home as well as the vast prairies of the Midwest. She creates site-specific installations that incorporate video and sound and constructs performative scenes that ultimately exist as photographs. Other forms of her work include artist's books, collaborative interactions, textile projects, and narrative videos. Scott Birmingham

is actively involved in independent films and film festivals, including serving on the board of the Reno Film Festival. He has garnered awards for his own work producing and directing independent films from the American Film Institute, The Communicator Awards, Berkeley Video & Film Festival, the Videography Awards and the Reno Film Festival. A member of the Las Vegas Film Critics Society, Birmingham contributes film reviews and articles to REELFANS.com, IESB.net, and MyNews4.com and teaches filmmaking workshops at Truckee Meadows Community College.

Carol Brown

studied printmaking at the Glassell School of Art and Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas. She specializes in hand-pulled Japanese woodblock prints and has studied with international master printmakers.

Carroll Charlet

is a native Nevadan whose watercolor landscapes are inspired by the Sierra Nevada and the Great Basin. Her work has shown in galleries throughout the Reno area and she has taught for the Washoe County School District.

Alison Harris

has a MFA in Drawing and Painting from California State University, Long Beach and a BFA from Sonoma State University. She teaches for Truckee Meadows Community College, Western Nevada Community College, and Lake Tahoe Community College and has shown her work throughout the West. | alisonharrispaintings.com »

Daniel Helzer

is a graduate of the Colorado Institute of Art and Fresno State University. He has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for ad agencies and marketing firms as well as worked as a concept artist for the video game industry developing characters and environments. Helzer is currently employed with International Gaming Technology where he enjoys creating artwork for video slot machines.

Reiko Hervin

is an award-winning fine watercolor artist. Her artwork has an accent of Japanese sensitivity featuring luminous imaginative colors and dynamic expressions. Her commissioned paintings have also been shown at Renown, North Light Books, and Splash 9, as well as International Artist Magazine. Annie Hooker

received her BFA in Painting from California College of the Arts. Hooker works with themes of nostalgia, solitude, and human and family dynamics and specializes in large-scale oil paintings that feature figurative imagery and the still life. Louise Noel Howes

is a fulltime silk painter who exhibits her work in galleries and art fairs throughout the West. Her work is inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Northern Nevada region.  In addition to framed artwork, Howes produces wearable art from her silk paintings.

Lisa Kornze

Luverne Lightfoot

works both in the studio and in plein air to capture the relationship between light and color in her landscapes. She teaches oils and soft pastels and her artwork has won numerous prizes. Lightfoot has exhibited and taught workshops both regionally and nationally.

David McCamant

has worked as an illustrator, art director, animator and creative director. His artwork has been featured in Art Business News and can be found in private collections in the US and Europe. Candace Nicol

has a MFA from Boise State University and a BFA from University of Nevada, Reno. Candace is a co-founder of the Northern Nevada Printmakers’ Conspiracy which presents works in national and international collections. Carol Pallesen

has a BA in Art from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has taught book arts and calligraphy for more than 30 years from her studio, the Silent Hand Scriptorium. She has shown her work at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. and the Berchtold Villa Gallery in Salzburg, Austria. Having taught at 21 international calligraphy conferences and workshops, teaching is among Pallesen’s greatest pleasures.

Maria Partridge

Mischell Riley

received her BFA from Oklahoma State University. Mischell specializes in life-size bronze sculpture and has completed commissions throughout the country, including works for the Princeton University Library, the Truman Libraries, and the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Amanda Rookey

teaches pottery courses for adults, focusing on wheel-thrown forms and hand building with clay. She earned her BFA in Fine Arts Studio from the School of Art at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Her work is primarily functional stoneware that integrates fresh shapes and vibrant colors.

Jeff Ross

Jerry Stinson

teaches life drawing, one of the most popular courses at the Museum School. Stinson has years of experience in the commercial arts as a graphic designer, art director, production manager, and as a supervisor in marketing services. He continues to pursue a personal life-long study of drawing the human figure.

Adrienne Van Nalts

specializes in fiber arts. She teaches one and two-day workshops in knitting, felting, tapestry and triangle loom weaving.

Martha Voyevidka

graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art and Kent State University, where she taught while completing her MA. She did postgraduate studies at the Angewandte Kunst Akademie in Vienna, Austria where her work was included in the Akademie’s Centennial Exhibition. Voyevidka has exhibited in Europe and the United States, including the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Ukrainian Institute of America.

Todd White

has a BS in Transportation Design from Art Center College of Design. He is a product designer/concept illustrator and has designed for K-Swiss, Kawasaki, Ford, Toyota, and Honda.  In the entertainment industry, he worked as a senior concept artist/creative director for Disney, Warner Bros., Universal Studios, and Sony Entertainment.
