Start oil painting, play with acrylics or experiment with water soluble oils in this three day workshop. Using a limited palette of harmonized color students can expect to complete two pochades (preliminary painted sketches) in each class session. Classes will be held off-site at local scenic outdoor locations including Mayberry Park along the Truckee River, Galena Park Creek and Crystal Peak Park in Verdi. Locations may vary, enrolled students will be provided with meeting locations. FIRST CLASS DIRECTIONS TO MAYBERRY PARK: Take West Fourth Street past McCarran to Woodland Avenue. Head south on Woodland (towards the Truckee River) and park in the parking lot at the end of Woodland Avenue. Erik Holland will meet the class there. Please arrive on time.
