In this class students will be taught the basic and fundamental skills of design. Students will start with a 2 dimensional drawing as a stepping off point; through a series of transitional exercises exploring shape the student will build modules will be used, modified, altered, and explored as a method to learn the fundamentals of 2-D and 3-D design. The class will focus on spatial thinking development and skills, drawing and representation, model and object building exercises, and material exploration.
