Explore the settings of a DSLR camera (camera supplied) while shooting outside on day-one. Later, students will explore the tools available in Photoshop including color correction, framing, cropping, creating balance and facial corrections while working on Apple iMac computers. Finally students will learn the basics of recording memories in photo albums, slide shows and/or prints. PREREQUISITE: Some experience with some type of photo editing software. For students with little or no experience with photo editing, please consider registering for Photoshop for Beginners on May 1 prior to enrolling in this course. NOTE: This class is presented in partnership with Reno High and is taught in the Red House Project Digital Media Lab on the campus of Reno High School, 395 Booth Street.
