Included in Conference Registration

Each conference registration ticket includes: Access to the complete conference program, complimentary admission to Members’ Premiere, Welcome Reception and Closing Reception as well as food and beverage provided during select breaks.

As a backdrop to the 2011 Art + Environment Conference, the Museum’s galleries will be programmed with exhibitions related to natural, built, and virtual environments—serving as a springboard for Conference sessions and keynote presentations. Among the exhibitions on view will be: The Altered Landscape: Photographs of a Changing Environment; Helen Mayer Harrison & Newton Harrison: Sierra Nevada: An Adaptation; Landscape Futures: Instruments, Devices and Architectural Inventions; Fog Garden: The Architecture of Water; This is Not a Trojan Horse: A Project by Amy Franceschini; Photographs by Jean-Luc Mylayne; Diana Al-Hadid: Water Thief; Shirin Neshat: Passage; Photographs by Robert Adams; Richard Black: Australia’s Murray River; Tim Hawkinson: Totem; Linda Fleming: Modeling the Universe; Jacob Hashimoto: Here in Sleep, a World, Muted to a Whisper.

Fees & Payment

Registration fees must be prepaid by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. General registration is $500. All registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until full capacity is met.

Cancellations/Refunds

Cancellation requests received before August 1, 2011 will receive a full refund. Cancellation requests received between August 2 and September 15 will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation requests received after September 15 are not eligible for refund.

Confirmation Notice

Attendees will receive a confirmation notice via e-mail. Confirmation notices will indicate that the conference tickets have been purchased and that registration is complete.

Elke Hoppe Youth Advancement Trust Student Simulcast Lounge

Each Elke Hoppe Youth Advancement Trust Student Simulcast Lounge Ticket provides university and college students live video feed from within the Lounge of all A+E Conference presentations and panel discussions, free Wi-Fi access, and admission to all Conference receptions and refreshment breaks during the event, September 29 through October 1, including The Altered Landscape: Photographs of a Changing Environment Members’ Premiere from 6 to 8pm on Thursday, September 29.

$75 Pre-registration is required. Seating is limited. Valid student identification must be shown during on-site check-in.
