    Hands ON! Second Saturdays

    Saturday November 10, 2018 / 10 am – 6 pm

    The Hands ON! on Second Saturdays program offers monthly free admission, hands-on art activities, storytelling, a docent-guided tour, live performances, and community collaborations.  “Art Investigators” provides children the opportunity to engage with Museum staff and take a closer look at artwork while engaging in a dialogue about key pieces.  New exhibitions, community collaborations, cultural explorations, guest performances and monthly themes rotate in this engaging series of monthly programs.

    10 am – 4 pm | Art Project: Mono Printing
    10:30 & 11 am | Children’s Storytelling with Washoe County Library System
    11 am | Cultural Presentation: Regalia, Dance and Arts of the Great Basin Tribes with Ben and John Rupert with Drumming from the Stump Family
    12 pm & 2 pm | Art Investigators: Kid Detectives Look at Art
    1 pm | Public Tour (Adult Focus)
    2:30 & 3 pm | Children’s Storytelling with Washoe County Library System

  • Group Tours

    Guided Tour – Saturday Afternoon

    Saturday November 10, 2018 / 1 – 2 pm

    Tour the featured exhibition with one of the Museum’s trained docents during a regularly scheduled Guided Tour offered Saturdays at 1 pm. Additional Guided Tours on Sundays at 1 pm; the last Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm; and Thursdays at 6 pm (except First Thursdays). Reservations are not needed.
