All galleries will be closed today for the installation of Tahoe: A Visual History, opening to the public on Saturday, August 22, 2015. The Museum Store, chez louie and the E.L. Cord Museum School are open during normal business hours.
Reno artist Katie Lewis’s work visualizes different kinds of data she compiles about her own life—physical sensations, the number of steps she takes each day—and then transforms the data into visual accumulations of pins, thread, paper, and graphite.
Seniors are invited to spend the afternoon in the E.L. Cord Museum School. Enjoy a studio art class creating bas-relief clay garden stones along with light refreshments. Art projects are designed for participants of all levels of experience and offer an engaging and interactive experience. These monthly sessions are held
