What is the difference between membership and a charitable contribution?

Membership provides annual benefits such as admission, discounts, and event access. Membership is not fully tax deductible as tangible benefits are provided.

A charitable contribution is a donation that supports the Museum’s exhibitions and programs without associated benefits and may be fully tax deductible.
