Getting Here

Location

The Museum is located at 160 West Liberty Street in downtown Reno, Nevada.

Parking

Currently the Nevada Museum of Art is undergoing an expansion project, which will add 50,000 square feet of education and gallery spaces. In addition, the City of Reno is making significant street and sewer improvements in the surrounding neighborhood. Guests should be aware that these activities have impacted our parking.

Guests are invited to park for FREE in the Museum’s main Liberty Street parking lot, or its dedicated overflow parking directly behind Sundance Bookstore. If these lots are full, guests are advised to avoid the Museum Towers parking area and seek free or metered parking in the residential areas South of California Avenue.

Parking will be the most impacted midday Tuesdays through Fridays, as well as during major Museum events. We advise guests to allocate additional time into their visit to find appropriate parking. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
