Thursdays, March 5 - 26
5:30 - 7:30 pm

This advanced Ikebana, freestyle course explores contemporary, non-traditional composition while maintaining the foundational principles of line, mass, balance, and ma (negative space). Students will synthesize structural techniques from moribana and nageire, applying asymmetrical balance, dynamic line construction, and intentional spatial tension to create sculptural floral works. It is imperative that you have completed the Moribana and Nageire Ikebana classes to ensure technical fluency in foundational mechanics and compositional theory.
