Teens ages 13 – 18 will have fun exploring the tactile nature of clay.  Instruction will encompass basic hand building, throwing on the wheel, and sculpture.  In this 5 day intensive for teens, students will learn about the basics of pottery, glazing and the transformation of their pieces from the heat of kiln. This will be a fun and educational class.  All works will be fired in the Museums’ kiln. All materials are included.

Over this five-day camp, participants will have the opportunity to hand-build clay sculptures, paint mini-masterpieces and sketch in the Museum galleries. A daily snack and all materials are included with registration.

Students will get their hands dirty in the classroom early in the morning and then and will practice their drawing skills while exploring the Museum’s galleries.  A mid-morning snack and all materials are included with registration.

*Students need to bring a cold-lunch and bottle of water.
