Introduction to Silver Smithing: Earrings
Expand your silversmithing skills while designing and creating a coordinated pair of handmade earrings. In this hands-on workshop, students will work with both silver and copper to saw, drill, and assemble earring components, learning how different metals interact within a single design. You’ll refine surfaces through filing and sanding, solder sterling silver posts, and set a stone into a silver bezel cup. This project could complement the pendant and bracelet pieces from Beginning Silversmithing, resulting in a cohesive, wearable collection. This class is ideal for students ready to gain confidence and refine their metalworking skills while creating a wearable work of art. All supplies are provided.
