Monday – Friday, April 2 – 6 / 8:30 am – noon

Kids ages 7 – 12 will have fun exploring the tactile nature of clay.  Instruction will encompass basic hand building, throwing on the wheel, and sculpture.  In this 5 day camp, students will learn about the basics of pottery, glazing and the transformation of their pieces from the heat of kiln. This will be a fun and educational class.  All works will be fired in the Museums’ kiln. Snack and materials are included.

Kids ages 7 – 12 will have fun exploring a variety of art mediums in this fun and interactive five-week series. Students will have an opportunity to practice and improve on their painting and drawing skills, will be introduced to printing techniques and will enjoy exploring the Museum’s galleries.  A snack and all materials are included with registration.

Kids ages 2 – 6 will enjoy playing in clay with their parents as they create Valentine’s Day inspired keepsake treasures while exploring the tactile qualities of clay. Children will create hearts with hand prints, heart ornaments and a heart shaped spoon holder in this quick and messy class.
