Weekly demonstrations will encourage individuals to work through drawing challenges and explore their media of choice in this open format class. Students will focus on drawing buildings in perspective, drawing water, drawing plants and foliage as well as drawing people in motion. Beginning and advanced students will enjoy this five-day technique-based class. Daily exercises will help build the students abilities to make sensitive and effective brush strokes from glazes to impasto (textural). Will include an exploration of how different brush shapes affect paint application and use of a pallet knife to apply and carve paint to create texture and depth.
