Ceramics: Open Studio
Intermediate and advanced level students will enjoy developing their hand building and/or wheel throwing techniques in this open studio ceramics class. Instructor will introduce students to new techniques, will encourage experimentation and will assist students with independent challenges. Studio clay and glazes are provided.

Winter Break Camp: Intro to Painting
Using color and shape, this camp will focus on a different style of painting each day. Students will learn new techniques along with basic color theory and create a different piece of art each day ranging from lifelike to abstract.

Winter Break Art Camp: Fun with Clay
Kids ages 7 – 12 will have fun exploring the tactile nature of clay. Instruction will encompass basic hand building, throwing on the wheel, and sculpture. In this 4 day camp, students will learn about the basics of pottery, glazing and the transformation of their pieces from the heat of kiln. This will be a fun and educational class. All works will be fired in the Museums’ kiln. Snack and materials are included.

Hand Painted Ornaments
Inspired by her Czechoslovakian heritage, instructor Iva Neveux will introduce student to basic painting techniques to create beautiful holiday ornaments. Each student will create two hand-painted ornaments using combinations of dots, lines, dashes and curves. All materials included with registration.

Autumn Leaves in Watercolor
Capture the beauty of autumn leaves with watercolors. Using the watercolor techniques of wet on wet, wet on dry and lifting, students will learn to create pictures and cards using a loose and expressive approach. This class is open to all levels, beginners are welcome.
