Virtual Art Afternoon: Workshop and Social for Seniors
Join us as Art Afternoon for Seniors goes virtual!
Instructor Carol Raphel will share perspectives on several works from the Museum’s collections or exhibitions and will facilitate a lively group discussion and virtual workshop.
Participants will need to have Zoom and will need to be able to use their camera function on Zoom.
- 1 manila file folder or 1 cardboard (cereal box), or 1 brown paper grocery bag.
- magazines, sheet music, pages of old books, newspaper ads, fabric scraps, cardboard scraps (tissue box, cereal box, corrugated cardboard)
- scissors
- pencil
- white glue
- old craft paintbrush for gluing
- a photograph that inspires or is special to you

Seniors are invited to spend the afternoon at the Museum. Enjoy a guided tour and a studio art class along with light refreshments. Monthly tours and projects are designed for participants of all levels of experience and offer an engaging and interactive experience. These monthly sessions are held on the second Friday of each month. Advanced registration is recommended.
