Nature of Art Celebration at the McCarran Ranch Preserve

Note: Due to a small, but impactful brush fire at the McCarran Ranch Preserve, this event has been postponed. New date TBD.

The Nature Conservancy invites the community to join artists Daniel McCormick and Mary O’Brien, Bill Fox from the Nevada Museum of Art’s Center for Art + Environment, to celebrate these beautiful habitat-enhancing sculptures one year after completion. Learn how these living sculptures have become part of their surrounding environment and benefited conservation work on the Truckee River. Participants will have an opportunity to work on the sculptures with the artists (gloves and tools provided) and will enjoy remarks from the artists, Bill Fox, and others. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
