Hands ON! Second Saturday – Celebrate the Art of Jean LaMarr

Bring the whole family to celebrate the art of Jean LaMarr. Meet the artist, enjoy cultural presentations, learn about Indigenous foodways, and make your own art inspired by LaMarr’s work. A select group of Native American vendors will be on hand selling traditional and contemporary art work.

11 am | Talk: Indigenous Food Sovereignty – Presentation with Cafe Ohlone’s Vincent Medina and Louis Trevino

12 pm | Talk: Artist Jean LaMarr in conversation with Chief Curator and Deputy Director, Ann Wolfe

1:30 pm | Presentation: Great Basin Language Preservation with Reno-Sparks Indian Colony

Demos: Basket Weaving and Hand Game.
