Educator Evenings
Local educators are invited to this FREE special series on the first Wednesday of every month (excluding January and July). On December 3rd, join Charles N. Mathewson Curator of Education Colin M. Robertson for a discussion and activity on highlights from the Museum’s permanent collection as they relate to English Language Arts, Social Studies and Environmental Science. Followed by a reception with light refreshments from 5:30 to 6 pm.
Teacher in-service credit is available for participation in the series. Earn 0.5 teacher in-service credit for attending five Educator Evenings and 1.0 credit for attending ten during August 1 through July 31 time frame. Please check with the State of Nevada to see if credit may be applied to your area of licensure.
