Art Afternoon: Workshop and Social for Seniors
Seniors are invited to spend the afternoon at the Museum. Enjoy a guided tour and a studio art class along with light refreshments. Monthly tours and projects are designed for participants of all levels of experience and offer an engaging and interactive experience. These monthly sessions are held on the second Friday of each month. Registration is available online or day of.

Musicwood
For hundreds of years guitars have been made the same way, but now, this could all change. Musicwood is an adventure-filled journey, a political thriller with music at its heart.
Guided Tour – Sunday Afternoon
Tour the featured exhibition with one of the Museum’s trained docents during a regularly scheduled Guided Tour offered Thursdays at 6 pm (except First Thursdays); Saturdays at 1 pm; and Sundays at 1 pm. Reservations are not needed. Free with admission.
Sunday Music Brunch: The Socks
Enjoy live music and brunch every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm presented by chez louie. The menu features artful dishes, mimosas and a Bloody Mary Bar. Museum members receive a 10% savings. Reservations strongly encouraged at 775.284.2921.

Educator Evenings
Local educators are invited to this FREE special series on the first Wednesday of every month (excluding January and July). Join Charles N. Mathewson Curator of Education Colin M. Robertson for a presentation, discussion and activity based on the Museum’s collections and current exhibitions. A light reception will follow the presentation. Teacher in-service credit is available for participating in the Educator Evenings. Earn 0.5 teacher in-service credit for attending five Educator Evenings and 1.0 credit for attending ten during August 1 through July 31 timeframe. Please check with the State of Nevada to see if credit may be applied to your area of licensure.
