Why do you send Membership renewal notices so early?

If you renew when you receive your first notice, you ensure that your membership benefits will not be interrupted and your membership renewal date will be advanced one year from its current expiration month and year. You do not “lose” any time by renewing early. In fact, by renewing early the Museum saves on postage and saves paper!
