Simon Balm: Stellar Axis (CAE1112)

Contains astrophysicist Simon Balm’s data files, correspondence, packing lists, maps, and project sphere plot, for Stellar Axis, a large-scale art installation by Lita Albuquerque. Funded by the NSF, it was created in the Antarctic in 2006 on the Ross Ice Shelf.
