This website, images, and text contained on this website are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws and are owned by the Nevada Museum of Art (Museum) or used by the Museum with permission from the owners.
Copyright for some images are held by the artists and/or their estates.
By using this website, you agree not to download, copy, reproduce, publish or transmit or otherwise use any portion of this website including any images or text contained on this website except for your own personal noncommercial use or “fair use,” as this term is defined by current copyright laws, without written permission from the Museum.
The Museum does not grant permission to exploit any third-party rights. It is the responsibility of the user to obtain any and all permissions that may be required from the artist, the artist’s agent and/or estate, or any other third-party rights holder before use.
Image Requests
To inquire about the necessary permissions to use images, including requests for higher quality/resolution formats, please complete the form below. Most images are available at no charge for use in scholarly and academic publications, subject to a modest processing fee, which is determined at time of approval.
All requests for new photography are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Upon approval, additional fees may apply. New photography may take up to six weeks to complete. Please note that the Museum reserves the right to deny any request at its sole discretion.
