Botanical Illustrations: Fall Colors

Sundays, September 7 – September 21 / 11:30 am – 3:30 pm

Capture the beauty of autumn leaves and fruits through the techniques of botanical illustration. Students will learn to create watercolor and ink pictures and cards of autumn specimens. This class is open to all levels.

Instructor: Carroll Charlet
Ages: 15 and Up / All Levels

Required Supplies:

  • Basic watercolor set (Reeves or Richardson set of 12 is fine) 
  • No. 6 OR No 8 pointed watercolor brush 
  • 9×12 Tablet of 140# Arches watercolor paper 
  • Small round 10-well pallet OR white dinner plate 
  • 2 mechanical pencils
  • Kneaded eraser
  • Fine point (01 OR 005) black ink pen (must be permanent and waterproof)
  • Roll of paper towels
