Urban Landscapes in Acrylic Paint

Class Meets: Saturdays, May 31 – June 14, 2014

Ages: 15 and up / All Levels

Working from photographs in the studio students will create urban textured landscapes/cityscapes in acrylic paint that tell a story. Students will be introduced artists such as Hopper, the Ashcan School and the like that painted urban scenes.

Supply List:

(3-6) 8” x 10” or 9”x 12” canvas panels (one to two panels per session)

Recommended Acrylic Paints:

• Titanium White
• Ivory black
• Ultramarine Blue
• Cadmium Red Medium
• Cadmium Yellow (pale or light)
