    Museum School Open House and Hands ON! Second Saturdays

    Saturday December 10, 2016 / 10 am – 6 pm

    Enjoy free admission, live performances, hands-on art activities and storytelling in this free monthly program for families. The Museum School Open House includes faculty meet-and-greets, drop in drawing sessions and discounts on class registrations!

    1:00 pm | Public Tour (adult focus)
    2 pm | In-Tune Tales presents spoken and sung stories inspired by Dr. Seuss’s “The Grinch” – Live Performance
    2:30 & 3 pm | Children’s Storytelling with Kathleen Durham

    MUSEUM STORE: Holiday Pop-up Shop

    Saturday December 10, 2016 / 10 am – 3 pm

    Find holiday gifts handmade by local artists at this boutique shopping experience. First, encounter Susie Rusk, a Nevada native with a love of creating handmade artisanal jewelry. Want a unique sculpture? Mother and daughter team Debbie and Rachael Lambin of Reno turn books into art objects through their work, My Thousand Words book sculptures.

  • Group Tours

    Guided Tour – Saturday Afternoon

    Saturday December 10, 2016 / 1 – 2 pm

    Tour the featured exhibition with one of the Museum’s trained docents during a regularly scheduled Guided Tour offered Thursdays at 6 pm (except First Thursdays); Saturdays at 1 pm; and Sundays at 1 pm. Reservations are not needed. Free with admission.
