The Museum offers a wide variety of tours designed to fit guests’ unique interests and needs, including Private Tours, School Tours and regularly scheduled Guided Tours.

Private Tours

Trained docents will lead your group through an informative and interactive private tour, which includes a choice of viewing the feature exhibition or a detailed look at the Museum’s permanent collection and architecture.

School Tours

School tours are designed to be highly engaging and age appropriate learning opportunities for preK-12 students. These interdisciplinary experiences reinforce STEAM based thinking and learning and are aligned with the National Core Art Standards and the Nevada Academic Content Standards. Special pricing and busing offers are available.

Guided Tours

Guided tours are offered to the public with regular admission. Tour the feature exhibition with one of the Museum’s trained docents; hear the artist’s stories, gain a behind-the-scenes perspective, and participate in community dialogue. Reservations are not needed.

Guided tours are offered at the following times:

  • Thursdays at 5 pm (except First Thursdays)
  • Saturdays at 1 pm
  • Sundays at 1 pm
  • Wednesdays 1:30 pm
  • Conversational Spanish Tours on the second Thursday of each month at 5 pm
