Educator Evening: Teaching with the Altered Landscape Collection

Local educators are invited to this FREE special series on the first Wednesday of every month (excluding January and July). Join educator Marisa Cooper for a presentation, discussion and activity exploring the Museum’s Altered Landscape collection as it relates to teaching and the Nevada Academic Content Standards. A light reception will follow the presentation. Teacher in-service credit is available for participating in the Educator Evenings. Earn 0.5 teacher in-service credit for attending five Educator Evenings and 1.0 credit for attending ten during August 1 through July 31 timeframe. Please check with the State of Nevada to see if credit may be applied to your area of licensure.
