Educator Evening: Using Art and Social Studies to Explore Cannupa Hanksa Luger: Speechless

Join Colin Robertson, Charles N. Mathewson Senior Vice President of Education and Research, and Megan Bellister, Nell J. Redfield Curator of Learning and Engagement, for a presentation and discussion with educators about the exhibition Cannupa Hanksa Luger: Speechless and Nevada Academic Content Standards for social studies. Presentation followed by a wine reception.

Educator Evenings at the Nevada Museum of Art offer professional learning opportunities for teachers to connect the Museum’s collections and exhibitions with interdisciplinary art education, aligning with Nevada Academic Content Standards. Through interdisciplinary art education programming, Educator Evenings facilitate dialogue, collaboration among peers, and inspire innovative lesson plans. Registration is FREE. These offerings provide state-approved professional development hours for participation.
