Hands ON! Second Saturday – Celebrate the Art of Ben Aleck

Estelle J. Kelsey Foundation Hands ON! Second Saturdays offers monthly free admission, hands-on art activities, storytelling, a docent-guided tour, live performances, and community collaborations. Bring the whole family to celebrate The Art of Ben Aleck. Meet the artist, enjoy cultural presentations and performances by members of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, learn about Indigenous language preservation, and participate in hands-on workshops inspired by Aleck’s work. 

SCHEDULE 

10 am – 6 pm | Free Admission for all Visitors 
10 am – 4 pm | Hands-on Art Projects
10:30 am & 1 pm | Art Expeditions with Bonnie
11 am | Public Tour (adult focus)
12 pm | Performance and Presentation by Truckee Paiute Singers with the Reno Sparks Indian Colony Pow Wow Club
2 pm | Reno Sparks Indian Colony Youth Storytellers
