Hands ON! Second Saturdays

The Hands ON! on Second Saturdays program offers monthly free admission, hands-on art activities, storytelling, a docent-guided tour, live performances, and community collaborations.  “Art Investigators” which provides children the opportunity to engage with Museum staff and take a closer look at selected artworks while engaging in a dialogue about the selected pieces.  Themes and programs change monthly and rotate through cultural explorations, exhibition connections and community partnerships.  Guest artists, community collaborations and guest performances transition through this engaging series of monthly programs.

10 am – 4 pm | Art Project: Dance Ribbons
10 am – 4 pm | Art Project: Painted Mandala Stones
10:30 & 11 am | Children’s Storytelling with Kathleen Durham
11:30 am & 2 pm | Art Investigators explores City of Dust
12 pm | Controlled Burn Glow Performance and hands-on sock-poi/hula hoop workshop
1:00 pm | Public Tour (adult focus) – 2nd Floor
2:30 & 3 pm | Children’s Storytelling with Kathleen Durham
