Hands ON! Second Saturdays

The Hands ON! on Second Saturdays program offers monthly free admission, hands-on art activities, storytelling, a docent-guided tour, live performances, and community collaborations.  “Art Investigators” provides children the opportunity to engage with Museum staff and take a closer look at artwork while engaging in a dialogue about key pieces.  New exhibitions, community collaborations, cultural explorations, guest performances and monthly themes rotate in this engaging series of monthly programs.

10 am – 4 pm | Art Project: Patterned Postcards
10:30 & 11 am | Children’s Storytelling with Kathleen Durham
11:30 am & 2 pm | Art Investigators
12 pm & 1:30 pm | Interactive Performance: 30,000 Years of Music Making, From the Didgeridoo to the Electric Guitar with David Blonksi
1:00 pm | Public Tour (adult focus)
2:30 & 3 pm | Children’s Storytelling with Kathleen Durham
