In-Person Educator Evening: Narrative and Story through Art and Writing

Join Megan Bellister, Curator of Learning and Engagement, for an in-person discussion on integrating visual art into writing exercises, utilizing the exhibition Elisheva Biernoff: Reservoirs of Time. Elisheva Biernoff creates small-format paintings inspired by discarded photographs, reflecting on the anonymous traces of lives and places. Presentation followed by a wine reception.

Educator Evenings at the Nevada Museum of Art offer professional learning opportunities for teachers to connect the Museum’s collections and exhibitions with interdisciplinary art education, aligning with Nevada Academic Content Standards. Through interdisciplinary art education programming, Educator Evenings facilitate dialogue, collaboration among peers, and inspire innovative lesson plans. Registration is FREE. These offerings provide state-approved professional development hours for participation.

Educator Evenings are sponsored by the Robert Z. Hawkins Foundation, Bank of America and the Nell J. Redfield Foundation.
