Join architect Greg Papay to explore a variety of civic and institutional projects imbued with a spirit of ingenuity and grounded in place-based architecture. This is part of the Black Rock Design Institute (BRDI) lecture series for cross-disciplinary design professionals and the broader community.

Art After Dark: The Witching Hour
Step into a spellbinding night of creativity in the Skyroom at the Nevada Museum of Art. Dance under the candlelight with live music from DJ Fox & Buck, strike a pose in our eerie photobooth, be immersed in the video art by Robert Satmary, and show off your best attire in our Costume Contest. Enjoy libations while reimagining a classic painting with a spooky twist and craft a Batik masterpiece at this hands-on event for adults.

*SOLD OUT* Join us for an unforgettable evening with Brazilian visual artist Rodrigo Cass, who will do a special performance at 5:30pm, followed by a conversation with him and curator Amanda Carneiro of the Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) at 6pm. As a prelude to the event, artist Paulo Von Poser will enact a performance with a drone in the Linda and Alvaro Pascotto Sculpture Plaza, which will begin at 5pm.
Tickets to this program are free of charge but registration is required.
