Students will enjoy this introductory level course designed to teach basic drawing techniques including line, form, shading, and composition. This class is designed to provide a foundation for drawing.

Required Supplies: 
Paper: Newsprint or Sketchbook 18×24

 

Drawing Utensil: Pen, Graphite Pencils, Black Colored Pencil or Charcoal Pencil. (You are free to bring any drawing tool you feel comfortable with make sure to have an art pencil though the normal #2 just can’t get the job done.)

 

Pencil Sharpener (If using something such as pens or mechanical pencils please bring extras or refills)

 

Eraser: Pink Pearl, Gummy or white preferred

 

Optional: Ruler, Compass
