Intro to Needle Felting: Owl

Celebrate the beauty of the natural world through the art of needle felting in this hands-on workshop inspired by Into the Time Horizon, the Nevada Museum of Art’s exhibition exploring ecology, interconnectedness, and our relationship with the environment. Participants will first learn to card wool to mix colors and then transform the wool fibers into an enchanting owl using traditional needle felting techniques. Connect with nature through creativity, and craft a one-of-a-kind owl that can be displayed as a seasonal decoration or shared as a thoughtful handmade holiday gift.
