
Level II Glass Art: Slumping

Students in this level II class will explore the art of Slumping Glass! You’ll start by first designing a clear and colored flat glass piece to fit the swoop mold to create a beautiful 6” piece. Under the guidance of the instructor, you will briefly review the process of designing, cutting, melting, annealing, and kiln-forming the glass. Additionally, students will learn about the science, history, technology, and culture of this unique medium. All supplies are provided. NO open-toed shoes.
Note: Students signing up for this class are required to have taken the kiln forming class or have prior knowledge of kiln forming.
