Students will learn the basics of sketching and drawing birds from life and through observational drawing. Student will learn the basic avian anatomical structures and forms. A variety of taxidermy specimens and references will be provided. Students are welcome to bring personal specimens to class. Class is open to all skill levels.

-Variety of graphite pencil sizes: 2H, HB, B, 4B, 6B
-Vine charcoal sticks
-Compressed black and white charcoal sticks (Black and white preferred, colored charcoal is welcome)
-18 x 24 Newsprint Paper
-11 x 14 Bristol Paper
