Painting Intensive: Still Life in Oils

Working in oil, students will gain a thorough understanding of how to adeptly use oil paint to describe form, lighting, and material through still life. Through thoughtful observations, students will learn how to create striking lighting and intriguing compositions. Students will gain an understanding of various oil painting techniques, such as all prima, underpainting, and glazing. This class is perfect for beginner students looking to learn oil painting in an approachable way, or intermediate to advanced artists looking to refine their skills.
