Poppies in Watercolor

Saturday, May 12 / 10 am – 2 pm

Learn to paint the vibrancy of poppies from live specimens and photos.  Demonstrations will focus on layering washes to capture deep saturation of color while maintaining the transparency of watercolor.  

Instructor: Carroll Charlet
Ages: Adult (15+) / Some watercolor experience

Supply list: 

• Watercolor paper cold press 140 lb (Arches suggested)
• Watercolor Brushes including #8 OR #6 pointed and #2 OR #4 pointed
• Pallet that includes your favorite vibrant reds and pinks
• HB pencil
• Kneaded eraser
• Roll of paper towels
