Trees in Watercolor II

Trees in Watercolor II

Wednesday, August 27 and September 3
4 - 8 pm

Join this class to further develop your ability to capture different trees in watercolor. Building upon techniques from the previous class, students will focus on specific subjects such as blooming trees, weeping willow, fall foliage, and expressive, loosely rendered pine trees. You will also practice painting different types of tree trunks and explore a range of approaches to depicting large groupings of trees and mixed-species forests. For best results, especially when using the wet in wet technique, 100% cotton watercolor paper is highly recommended.
