Free Student Admission Programs

Free High School Admission

The Museum offers free unlimited admission to all public high school students. To receive free admission, students must show a current student ID at the Membership + Admissions Desk. 

Free Student Admission Program

The Museum offers free admission to students who attend Truckee Meadows Community College and the University of Nevada, Reno. This program invites students to enjoy: 1) free access the Museum galleries and to view all exhibitions; 2) free access to singer/songwriters showcased at First Thursday; and, 3) free encounters with art, artists and ideas at Art Bite events hosted Fridays at noon. Students need only present their Student ID at the Membership + Admissions Desk to participate.

Classes for Young Adults

For young adults wishing to develop their skills in the fine arts, the E.L. Cord Museum School hosts a series of courses designed to encourage students to explore a variety of media to supplement their high school and college art courses and guiding them towards the production of college-level portfolios.
